The craft

Why good resin art takes weeks, not days

Clarity, colour and depth are not added at the end. They come from patience at every stage, which is the whole difference between a keepsake and a souvenir.

Dried slowly

Moisture is what turns petals brown inside resin. Flowers are dried gently first so the reds stay red and the whites stay white.

Poured in layers

Thin layers, each left to cure before the next. That keeps flowers from floating, holds them exactly where they were arranged, and keeps the block bubble-free.

Cured, not rushed

Resin that is demoulded early stays soft and clouds over time. Every piece gets its full cure before it is touched.

Finished by hand

Edges sanded and polished to a glass-like shine, then gold leaf, lettering and framing added by hand. No two pieces are the same.

Send the flowers

Fresh, within two to three days of the ceremony. Pickup or courier is planned with you in advance.

Approve the design

Shape, size, layout and lettering are agreed first. Nothing is poured until you are 100% happy with the plan.

What is Jhilmil Decor?

Jhilmil Decor is a handmade luxury resin art studio founded in 2022 by artist Ayushi Arora. Enquiries and orders are handled through TriAkar's studio in Greater Noida West. It preserves wedding varmalas and flowers in resin, makes baby hand and feet castings, resin jewellery and resin home decor, and ships across India.

What is Jhilmil x TriAkar?

Jhilmil x TriAkar is the collaboration that brings Jhilmil Decor's handmade resin art onto triakar.com. TriAkar is a design-first Indian brand known for 3D printed decor and gifting; Jhilmil Decor is Ayushi Arora's resin art studio. Every Jhilmil piece is still made by hand by Ayushi.

How soon should I send my varmala after the wedding?

As soon as you can, ideally within two to three days of the ceremony, while the flowers are still fresh. Message on WhatsApp before the wedding if possible so the pickup or courier can be planned in advance.

How much does a piece cost?

Every piece is made to order, so the price depends on size, shape and what goes inside. Send the details on WhatsApp and Ayushi will share options and an exact quote in rupees before anything begins.

Will the resin turn yellow over time?

Jhilmil Decor uses clear art-grade resin made for keepsakes. Like all resin, it lasts best away from direct sunlight and heat. Care guidance is shared with every piece.
